Venezuela has done it! Not only did they beat an unbelievable Team USA lineup (nearly shutting them out, might I add), but they've won the World Baseball Classic for the first time in history! Celebrate the incredible victory with 2026 WBC championship gear from Fanatics.
It was Venezuela all night long at loanDepot Park in Miami, leading 2-0 until Team USA woke up with Bryce Harper's game-tying 2-run homerun. But, Venezuela would not be silenced and it was Eugenio Suarez who hit a long double to give his team the lead once again in the top of the 9th. That would be enough to beat Team USA.
