July 4th will be a scorcher—can these Amazon fans keep you cool?
The Jisulife 3-in-1 and TriPole mini fans are both viral and under $20—but only one lived up to the hype in my side-by-side test.
Kyley Warren- A TikTok debate has emerged over which of Amazon's best-selling handheld fans is superior.
- The Jisulife fan is considered the best overall investment, offering more features and durability.
- Both fans are currently on sale for under $20 as part of Amazon's July 4th deals.
In this week's episode of "Silly Things TikTok is Arguing Over," we have a product battle with a timely twist, inspired by the dangerous holiday heat set to engulf much of the country this 4th of July weekend: which of Amazon's best-selling handheld fans is actually the best model?
The internet is currently divided between the Jisulife Handheld Portable Turbo Fan and the TriPole Mini Handheld Fan, both of which boast thousands of five-star ratings, have built-in rechargeable batteries and thanks to Amazon's July 4th deals, currently cost less than $20.
Another shared trait: I own and love them both, but for very different reasons. Below, I compare the two side by side to help you decide which handheld fan deal is actually worth buying before this weekend's heat dome and any outdoor 4th of July celebrations:
Which handheld fan should you buy?
- Best overall: Jisulife Handheld Mini Fan
- Best budget: TriPole Mini Handheld Fan
- Best for everyday use: Jisulife Handheld Mini Fan
- Best for travel: TriPole Mini Handheld Fan
What’s the difference?
The TikTok-viral Jisulife Handheld Fan
- Adjustable fan speed settings
- Typically higher ratings volume
- More durable build
- Foldable
- July 4th deal: $18.69, save 15%

This Jisulife fan is undoubtedly the most famous between the two, with a TikTok-viral reputation and over 10,000 glowing Amazon reviews to show for it—and for good reason.
The durable mini fan offers up to 16 hours of cooling time when charged at full battery. It has five fan speed settings (as opposed to TriPole's two) and blows remarkably cool, high-powered air for such a small device.
Bottom line: Yes, it costs more—but you also get so much more. For everyday use, this is undoubtedly Amazon's best handheld fan.
The TikTok-viral TriPole Handheld Fan
- Adjustable fan speed settings
- Typically has steeper discounts
- More compact build
- Concealed fan blades
- Includes attachable lanyard strap for easier carrying
- July 4th deal: $7.99, save 20%

I've owned the TriPole Mini Handheld Fan the longest out of the two and have had nothing but positive experiences with it.
The mini fan is lightweight, small enough to fit within a personal item carry-on bag, purse or even your own pocket, with a USB rechargeable design that (at full battery life) powers it to blow at speeds up to 5800 RPM. The little fan has a quiet motor, ergonomic handle (for easier carrying) and comes in a ton of fun colors.
Bottom line: As far as reliable, headache-free handheld fans go, this TriPole model can't be beat; it's perfect for travel and sure to keep you cool in even the hottest summer temperatures.
Jisulife vs. TriPole: Which Prime Day handheld fan deal wins?

If you’re shopping for summer essentials, a portable handheld fan can be a surprisingly useful buy—especially as heat waves ramp up and summer temperatures rise.
Between the two:
- The Jisulife fan is the better all-around investment, because you get more for your money (durability, higher fan speeds, multifunctional capabilities).
- But the TriPole fan is my personal favorite for its lightweight design and cheaper price tag; it's nothing special, but it gets the job done (and it's a mini fan, it doesn't have to be).
Either way, these last-chance deals tend to sell out quickly and they're both on sale for under $20, so it’s worth grabbing one before the temperatures kick up too much.
