Walmart finally revealed its sale dates—and it starts before Prime Day
Walmart is the last of the major retailers to announce its summer sale—but it’s arriving coincidentally early.

To no one's surprise, Walmart is hosting a competing Prime Day sale, and it is almost feels flirty that they waited so long to reveal that their sale will start just 24 hours before Prime Day. Official dates for all three big sales are here:
- Walmart's summer sale starts: Monday, June 22 at 12am ET
- Amazon Prime Day starts: Tuesday, June 23 at 3am ET
- Target Circle Deal Days starts: Tuesday, June 23 at 3am ET

By launching early access at midnight on Monday, June 22, Walmart is effectively giving its members a head start on any deals that might be available at competing retailers, including discounts on categories like:

How much does Walmart+ cost?
There are two Walmart+ pricing plans. You can become a member for $12.95 per month or for $98 annually. That’s $21 cheaper than Amazon Prime if you’re willing to pay for one year upfront. If you're receiving government assistance, including SNAP, WIC and Medicaid, you can join Walmart+ Assist for $6.47 a month or just $49 a year.
