How does Found work?

Found is a leading telehealth provider helping people access clinically-backed, sustainable weight loss support and GLP-1 medications in a way that’s affordable, personalized, and trustworthy.

Your journey at Found starts with a short assessment that asks about your health history before your case is reviewed by a licensed clinician. Here's a short look at how Found works:

  • Step 1 - Assessment. Found will ask about your health history, including what you have tried and what has and hasn't worked you, as well as what's realistic in your current schedule.
  • Step 2 - Clinician Review. A board-certified clinician evaluates your assessment—not just for medication eligibility, but to understand what approach is likely to actually work for your metabolism.
  • Step 3 - Your Personalized Medication. Your plan is informed by your MetabolicPrint—this proprietary tool helps Found clinicians understand how your body processes food, responds to medication, and regulates weight.
  • Step 4 - Ongoing care & adjustments. Your care team monitors your progress, adjusts your treatment when needed, and helps you navigate plateaus, side effects, or life getting in the way.

Does Found accept insurance?

Yes! Unlike some newer GLP-1 services focused only on prescriptions, Found has an insurance-first approach that helps members determine whether they can use insurance benefits toward GLP-1 medications.

What are GLP-1's?

GLP-1's are a category of prescription medications labeled as glucagon-like peptide-1's. They're offered in several brand name forms, like Ozempic, where semaglutide is the main substance, or Zepbound, where tirzepatide is the main substance. But they do basically the same thing. They mimic a hormone that the body is supposed to produce naturally, which increases the amount of insulin released by the pancreas in order to control blood sugar. While they were initially created to control diabetes, they have been proven to be effective tools for weight loss.
