Knicks parade brings confetti storm to NYC. Map, how to watch on TV
The NBA championship-winning New York Knicks will receive the Big Apple’s greatest and oldest accolade on June 18 – a classic ticker-tape parade that could be the largest one ever, with more than 40,000 pounds of litter and millions of adoring fans lining the streets.
The parade starts at 10 a.m. ET near Battery Park and will follow its traditional Canyon of Heroes route, up Broadway through Lower Manhattan to City Hall near Chambers Street.
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani will host a championship ceremony for the team at City Hall Plaza and give players the “Keys to the City.”
The parade for the Knicks will be the 211th ticker-tape parade held in New York, says the Gothamist. No tickets are needed, except for the City Hall event, which offered a brief window for 600 tickets.
