Two Jet2 passengers have been banned for life after a brawl on board a flight from Turkey to England.
A spokesperson for the low-cost carrier said Flight LS896 was traveling from Antalya to Manchester on Feb. 12, when the "appalling behavior of two disruptive passengers" forced the plane to divert to Brussels, Belgium.
Video shared on social media shows passengers and crew trying to break up the fight, as it spilled over the airplane aisle.
Jet2 said the two passengers were removed from the plane by police before the flight continued onto its intended destination.
"We will also vigorously pursue them to recover the costs that we incurred as a result of this diversion," Jet2 said in a statement to USA TODAY. "As a family friendly airline, we take a zero-tolerance approach to disruptive passenger behavior, and we are very sorry that other customers and our colleagues onboard had to experience this too.”

The British airline prides itself on its "friendly low fares" and went viral in 2025 over a promotion for its vacation packages.
