Shhhh! No talking at this Brooklyn restaurant

Eating? Yes. Talking? No.

A restaurant named Eat in Brooklyn's Greenpoint neighborhood has a no talking policy inspired by the chef's stay in a Buddhist monastery in India.

The price-fixed meal starts at 8 p.m., and there's no talking until the four courses are over. The silent dinner is offered a few Sundays a month.

Chef Nicholas Nauman wanted diners to have a chance to focus on the food, he said. Some diners found it romantic, while others had to conceal their giggles. Watch the video for a look at the experience.
