Unrivaled adds WNBA vet Bridget Carleton to its robust 2027 roster
Meghan L. HallPortland Fire forward Bridget Carleton is adding Unrivaled to her basketball résumé.
On Thursday, the 3-on-3 league announced the WNBA veteran will make her debut in 2027, when Unrivaled's third season tips off. The club Carleton will play for is expected to be announced at a later date. Carleton joins Olivia Miles, Gabby Williams and Flau'jae Johnson on the list of recent signees.
“I am so excited to be playing in Unrivaled next season. It’s a special opportunity for me to not only stay closer to home but to continue to expand my game and compete with and against some of the best players in the world,” Carleton said via release. “Can’t wait to get there!”

Carleton, who has spent eight seasons in the WNBA, joined the Fire earlier this year during the 2026 WNBA Expansion Draft. She is currently averaging career highs in points per game (13.4) and steals per game (1.6) with the franchise.
The Fire forward was originally drafted by the Connecticut Sun in the 2019 WNBA Draft with the 21st overall pick and later signed with the Minnesota Lynx. She would spend seven seasons in Minnesota before Portland added the 29-year-old to its roster.
Originally from Chatham, Ontario, Carleton also played for the Canadian women's national team in the 2020 and 2024 Olympics. In 2024, she led Canada with 13.3 points, 2.0 steals and 1.0 blocks per game.
