Home run hitter sprints to hurdles win still in softball uniform
For most high school athletes, one dominant performance would be enough for one day — but not for Lily Bosnich.
A senior at Saint Bede Academy in Peru, Illinois, Lily started her afternoon on the softball field, crushing a home run, driving in two runs and stealing three bases to help secure a 10-0 victory over Marquette.
Luckily for her track team, Lily was just getting warmed up.
With no time to spare, she sprinted straight to her senior night track meet while still wearing her full softball uniform. Lily lined up for the 300-meter hurdles and blazed across the finish line to take first place in an incredible time of 46.98 seconds.
