The two games on today's schedule are between playoff teams in the AFC. The AFC South champion Houston Texans kick things off on the road against the AFC West winners and current No. 1 seed Kansas City Chiefs. Later, it's a battle of AFC North foes with the Baltimore Ravens hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers in a game that could decide the division winner.

- This is the first matchup between Houston and Kansas City in the C.J. Stroud era. After a 20-12 win over Miami to clinch the division title, the Texans head on the road to face the Chiefs and will then take on the Ravens on Christmas Day. A win over the Chiefs, who just had their first double-digit win since Week 7 last time out against Cleveland, would build confidence heading into this final stretch before the playoffs.
- The Steelers held the Ravens to a season-low 329 total yards and forced a season-high three turnovers the last time these two teams met in Week 11 in Pittsburgh. Fresh off a bye and a big win over the New York Giants, Baltimore can draw even with the Steelers on record with a chance to overtake them as the AFC North frontrunner.
