Texas A&M's Damontre Moore declares for draft

Texas A&M junior defensive end Damontre Moore will enter the NFL draft
Moore led the Aggies in tackles, sacks and tackles for losses this season
Moore will finish his college career against Oklahoma in the Cotton Bowl.

DALLAS (AP) — Texas A&M defensive end Damontre Moore will forego his senior season to enter the NFL draft.

Moore led the Aggies in tackles (80), sacks (12 1/2) and tackles for losses (20) this season. He was a first-team All-Southeastern Conference pick and was a finalist for the Ted Hendricks Award.

NFLDraftScout.com projects Moore as a first-round selection in the 2013 draft. It rates him as the eighth-best player available and the No. 2 defensive end, immediately behind Florida State's Bjoern Werner.

Moore will finish his Texas A&M career Friday when the Aggies face Oklahoma in the Cotton Bowl.
