“One of the most defining moments of my life came as I stood in the NICU after the premature birth of my twin sons; one gone, one fighting for his life,” Dr. Nik shared. “As I held that tiny life, I realized nothing I had studied, achieved, or mastered could prepare me for what I was being asked to care for… It was the first time I truly understood that vision is not about clarity of sight, but clarity of soul.”
