Jessica Zuckier, President of the American Marketing Association’s (AMA) South Florida Chapter, is a leader in the marketing community with unique expertise that helps businesses thrive and grow. The secrets to her success can be found in her impressive background.

Zuckier’s massive results

All told, Zuckier has over 25 years of experience in marketing, leading cross-functional teams, executing high-impact campaigns, and driving business growth across various industries. “I specialize in crafting compelling brand narratives, designing data-informed marketing campaigns, and developing scalable lead generation campaigns,” she says.

For instance, Zuckier spearheaded the launch of a massively successful digital acquisition strategy in her previous role as Director of Marketing at Cision Canada. “I integrated SEO, paid media, and lead generation to spur impressive growth,” she explains. “Through rigorous performance tracking and ongoing optimization, I achieved a significant increase in net new leads, opportunities, and growth in closed won revenue.”

“My priority was promoting a culture of high performance and continuous growth,” Zuckier says. “I pride myself on being both results-driven and people-focused. Effective leadership is not just about overseeing projects — it also includes inspiring teams to do their best work, building trust, and cultivating an environment of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.”

Zuckier boosts revenue

In another major achievement, Zuckier served as Segment Marketing Manager for the leading tax software company Wolters Kluwer. “I developed email campaigns and paid social ads that resulted in increased subscription revenue,” she remembers. “I also established effective partnerships with cross-functional teams that provided me with in-depth insights for each audience, opportunities to home in on underperforming market verticals, and key ways to identify new revenue streams. This resulted in an increased growth of marketing-attributed revenue.”

In addition, Zuckier initiated their first Cyber Monday campaign, which was so successful that she received an Employee Recognition Award for her efforts. “That was my most exciting accomplishment there,” she says.

Outside of work, Zuckier also manages the marketing and social media initiatives for the franchise that she and her husband own, Five Star Painting of Aventura & Hollywood Beach, and has spent a substantial amount of time volunteering in the American marketing community. Since moving to Florida, she has continued to work full-time in digital marketing while helping her husband build their painting franchise by managing all of the business’s marketing, advertising, social media, and lead generation.

Zuckier leads the American marketing community

Zuckier has graciously served as an AMA volunteer and board member since 2019. “This has allowed me to lead diverse marketing teams in both the Toronto and South Florida Chapters,” she explains.

In the Toronto Chapter, she held several positions, including Account Director of Signature Events, President-Elect, and Vice President of Marketing. “Together with my co-VP, I led a team of 14 people, successfully aligning organizational objectives with overall business goals,” she says.

In addition, Zuckier mentored junior marketers through the Career Accelerator Program at the AMA Toronto Chapter. “I believe deeply in the importance of empowering others,” she says. “I take great pride in creating pathways for talent development.”

Currently, Zuckier is the President of the AMA South Florida Chapter. “In that capacity, I lead a team of 14 board members,” she explains. “I am also organizing our annual Awards Event, which includes honoring top marketing professionals in the South Florida community.”

She has often served as a judge for marketing industry awards herself, including last year’s and this year’s annual AMA South Florida awards, as well as the Hashtag Awards through Marketing News Canada.

Zuckier is an indispensable asset to American businesses

While Zuckier could have remained in Toronto, she and her husband wanted to achieve the American dream. In 2024, Jessica, her husband, and two children took the plunge and moved to Florida.

“The U.S. is recognized worldwide for its unique culture of innovation,” Zuckier explains. “It’s the land of opportunity and entrepreneurship. This country thrives on bold thinking and rewards strong leadership.”

Indeed, Zuckier’s ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution has made her an invaluable asset to every organization she has been a part of. Whether leading digital campaigns, managing vast marketing budgets, or building brand loyalty through storytelling, she approaches every challenge with creativity, discipline, and enthusiasm.
