Gregory DiFranza is Helping People Better Understand Their Dogs
While Gregory DiFranza has owned dogs all of his life, his career started in a different direction than his current position as a dog trainer. DiFranza’s background is in teaching tactical operations training, which included several overseas contracts. However, once his overseas contracts began to dry up, he started to watch other people’s dogs while they were out of town. He would keep the dogs in a family setting, which allowed the dogs to have more fun. From there, he went on to establish Kamp K9 Jax Bch in 2014 to help owners better understand and communicate with their dogs.
Kamp K9 offers one-on-one personal training sessions at customers’ homes and a six-week canine leadership group class. Through these courses, DiFranza helps dogs form better relationships with their owners. He teaches people to understand what their dogs are trying to communicate and be the trusted leader their dog needs. DiFranza emphasizes the importance of understanding different dog behaviors and how to properly handle them.
In addition to Kamp K9, DiFranza also wrote a book titled Dog Stories, which highlights years of success stories of helping dogs and their humans. The book dives into the concept of how a "one size fits all" approach can cause disastrous results. DiFranza has dedicated himself to helping dogs and people strengthen their bonds and work through challenges.
