Before joining Zenni Optical, Ting held senior positions at leading companies, where he drove increases in developer productivity and SaaS revenue. He has extensive expertise in scalable cloud architecture, big data, and AI/ML technologies, where he was able to automate processes at Flexport through RPA, AI-based fraud detection for over a billion users at DataVisor, and extracting key information from billions of emails per day at Nylas, demonstrating how he can build high-scale applications that translate to revenue and cost savings through the latest technology stack. As an engineer, Ting was the AltaVista Employee of the Year in 1999 and won two Outstanding Achievement awards at IBM. He graduated from UCLA and attended Stanford, graduating with a Master of Computer Science degree, and is a co-inventor for five patents.
