Call Assistant AI has introduced its call management solution app that helps users block unwanted spam calls. The app’s major features are call screening, call blocking, hold music, and more. The AI-powered app allows users to let Call Assistant take their calls while they read what the caller is saying in real-time and decide if they want to answer the call.

Call Assistant AI’s Chief Technical Officer, Paulo Taylor, says the innovation helps users with an incredible incoming call experience for their personal and business needs. Taylor adds that with the app’s voicemail service, users can also enjoy a state-of-the-art voicemail system. According to him, they can listen, share, or download all their

voicemails, as well as assign voicemail greetings to specific numbers. He mentions that users can put callers on hold and select a song for them to listen to. Users can also benefit from differentiating their voicemail boxes, allowing for important messages from family and friends to be prioritized and separate.

“We're trying to make what some industry leaders have attempted in the past, but with a different strategy. The initial idea was to make it work for all phones. However, it appeared it the iOS ecosystem does not fully allow for complete integration. Now, we’re here to provide that value for the teeming population of users looking for greater control over their calls. Our AI-powered assistant can interact with callers, helping them reschedule appointments to users’ available time slots. This smart scheduling feature is built to ensure that users don’t double-book or miss any appointments, allowing them to focus on more important tasks without having to constantly monitor their calendars,” Taylor notes.

CEO Lonnie Wills was experiencing 60-80 spam calls a day, and was almost driven to changing his phone number. “There was no way to stay on task, and often spam callers would spoof my area code, making me question whether it was a potential customer calling or even friend or family member calling in an emergency. What this app affords you, is the tools to take control of your phone privacy and better manage your contact with those closest to you,” says Wills.

On his part, Don Allen, a co-founder and investor, explains that the Call Assistant AI app can help users save the minutes spent trying to politely dismiss an unwanted caller. He says when a user's calendar is marked as busy, the app can play a pre-configured message to callers, letting them know the user is currently unavailable. Allen mentions that this feature ensures users are not interrupted by unwanted calls during important meetings or while focusing on deadlines.

“It’s essentially the same as conditional call forwarding, where, if the phone rings a number of times, it goes to voicemail. Our strategy is zero-ring conditional call forwarding. This means that when the call comes in, it immediately goes from ringing your phone to ringing another line that we can control remotely. On that line, we can make use of other features like an AI assistant, as well as the call routing software that provides users signals to their phones to deliver certain pop-ups and do specific actions. The amazing thing about this is that it can all be customized,” Allen emphasizes.

He concludes that Call Assistant’s Calendar integration makes the app an essential tool for managing calls and appointments in today’s technologically advanced world.

According to Allen, the app’s AI-powered chatbot has customizable features and seamless integration with other services. He believes that Call Assistant is poised to transform the way we communicate and plan our schedules. While Call Assistant AI is currently only available to users in the US, Allen hopes that they can bring the benefits of their tech to users in other territories in future. He says that business owners, professionals, parents, and everyone who needs to truly take charge of their mobile phone experiences, can now take advantage of this innovation for a better-organized life.
