CrunchLabs is a STEM-focused subscription box company offering three build-it-yourself options. While monthly deliveries start as low as $27.45, those signing up for a standard subscription can choose from the following box types:

  • Creative Kit - To foster creativity in kids, age 6-10. Receive a different box every month for up to two years.
  • Build Box - Focuses on hands-on engineering for kids, age 8-13. Receive a different box every month for up to four years.
  • Hack Pack - This one is for the kid in all of us, age 14 to 101, with a focus on robotics and engineering. Unlike the other two boxes which come with everything you need, this one does require computer access. Receive a different box every month for up to four years of coding and hacking.

All CrunchLabs boxes include exclusive Mark Rober videos, high-quality project components, and a booklet featuring picture-based instructions and STEM concept explanations. They also come with activities and challenges designed to take the toys to the next level, plus a gear badge that celebrates the specific engineering superpower featured in that box.

Note for Summer Camp Enrollees: You will receive the Year 1 Build Box series on an accelerated schedule for the Camp CrunchLabs Summer Special. Instead of receiving 12 boxes over 12 months, you’ll get all 12 boxes delivered across the 12 weeks of summer break.

How much does Camp CrunchLabs cost?

Camp CrunchLabs is the same as the standard subscription price of $27.45 per box, though it requires an upfront payment. While regular monthly subscriptions offer annual, quarterly or month-to-month billing options, the summer camp is a single lump sum of $329.40.

Though it’s an initial investment, it remains significantly more affordable than the average overnight summer camp—all while giving your child the chance to learn from one of their favorite YouTubers.
