An X-cellent sale: Rocker Exene Cervenka cleans house

Among the items Exene Cervenka is getting rid of: a collection of vintage dolls.

If you've always wanted to have a piece of the punk band X — and I count myself among that crowd — then you may want to plan a trip to California ASAP.

Musician/artist Exene Cervenka is getting rid of a ton of cool stuff in an estate sale this week. Items up for grabs include everything from guitars, records and super-cool vintage clothes to more random things, like old carnival chalk prizes, clown-themed artwork, old tiki mugs and a sparkly tiara.

The bad news about this sale is it's being conducted in person, so you have to show up in Santa Ana, Calif., before Feb. 16 to claim your stuff. Here's Exene's pitch:

Calling all Betty Crocker punk rockers!!!! 100 years of Americana needs good home. Treasured memories of the past can live on in your hands! Like a small inheritance, but without the squabbling with siblings!

For more info and photos of the items, head to estatesales.net. Hmm, I wonder if Exene and I have the same shoe size ...

Exene Cervenka's estate sale also includes assorted vintage magazines.

(Thanks to Pop reader Tim D. for the heads-up!)

Update: A previous version of this story included a photo of guitars that, as it turns out, are not part of the sale.
