Police: At least 10 injured in Maryland boat explosion

At least 10 people were injured Saturday after a boat explosion on Solomons Island in southern Maryland, according to police.

Maryland Natural Resources police say that at around 6:30 p.m. ET a boat pulled into Spring Cove Marina to refuel when the explosion occurred. An investigation into what caused the explosion is ongoing.

Two people were taken to Calvert Memorial Hospital for treatment, while eight people were taken to Washington, D.C., area hospitals. Their conditions were unknown.
