Post-5 p.m. sunsets mark the return of evening daylight — time for outdoor activities, later walks and more sunlight after work. USA TODAY mapped out when your county will see sunset after 5 p.m. and how many days of post-5 p.m. sunset you will see this year.

And if you are in, say, Texas, Florida or Arizona? You are already living the dream. You know why. Your county never sees sunset before 5 p.m. Roughly, 42% counties in the U.S. have year-round sunsets at or after 5 p.m.

Nationally, more than 205 million people, about 62% of the U.S. population, see the sun set before 5 p.m. at some point in the year. Check your county's crossing point and get ready to reclaim your evenings from the darkness.
