  • Donald Trump's 80th birthday on June 14 will be celebrated with a "UFC Freedom 250" fight at the White House.
  • A recent poll shows 55% of U.S. adults believe Trump is not in good enough physical health to serve as president.
  • A counter-event, the "Rise Up, Sing Out" concert, is planned to stream at the same time as the UFC fight.

We're days away from President Donald Trump's 80th birthday, which is set to be an eventful day.

The White House is hosting the "UFC Freedom 250" fight to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States. It will take place on the same day as Trump’s birthday and Flag Day.

Ahead of his milestone birthday, there have been concerns over his health. A Washington Post/ABC News/Ipsos survey from April found that 55% of U.S. adults don’t believe Trump is in “good enough physical health to serve effectively as president,” up from 28% in 2023

However, Trump officials have repeatedly said Trump is “fully fit” for office.

President Trump is the sharpest and most accessible President in American history who is working nonstop to solve problems and deliver on his promises, and he remains in excellent health,” White House spokesman Davis Ingle said.

When is Donald Trump’s 80th birthday?

President Donald Trump speaks in the Oval Office at the White House in Washington, DC, on June 10, 2026.

Trump was born on June 14, 1946, which is also Flag Day. Last year, he attended a military parade and festival for the Army's 250th anniversary. His administration insisted it was a coincidence.

"I am blessed to have shared my birthday with the Star Spangled Banner and the U.S. Army," he said in a 2017 Flag Day news release.

Is Donald Trump the oldest president to ever serve?

While Trump is the oldest person ever to assume the U.S. presidency, at 78 for his second term, he's not the oldest president to serve. Former President and Trump opponent Joe Biden was 82 when he left office in 2025.

What are the plans for Donald Trump's birthday?

"UFC Freedom 250" will take place on the South Lawn of the White House on Trump's birthday.

"UFC Freedom 250 commemorates the 250th birthday of the United States with a once-in-a-generation celebration of the American fighting spirit," the website states. "From the Revolution to the Octagon, this historic event will connect fans through cinematic storytelling and unrivaled competition on the world’s greatest proving ground."

Trump said the fight night will be the "biggest event we've ever had at the White House." It was planned as part of the country's 250th anniversary.

'No Kings' concert planned to counter UFC fight

The next "No Kings" event will not be a protest. Instead, it will host a “Rise Up, Sing Out: A Concert for the First Amendment," a live program to counter Trump’s 80th birthday celebrations and the UFC fight.

"We can let strongman politics and corruption define the moment. Or we can make the story of America about people coming together — across race, background, identity, belief, and community — to defend our rights and build a future rooted in people power," the official "No Kings" website states.

The 90-minute event, co‑presented with the Committee for the First Amendment, will be star-studded and available to stream at the same time as the UFC fight. Watch parties will be hosted across the state, including some in Florida.

Where are the Florida watch parties?

The "Rise Up, Sing Out" concert will go live on its official website on June 14 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
