For some beer drinkers, Busch Light Apple is the apple of their eyes. The special flavored lager may not always be around, but it's about to return.

The beer – known affectionately as "Bapple" by some fans – will be available nationwide by the end of April in six-packs, 12-packs and other configurations.

Anheuser-Busch teased the beer's return earlier this year on the social network X. Since its 2020 debut, Busch Light Apple has been available for limited runs in 2021, 2022 and in 2025.

Last year, while on shelves, the beverage captured more market share during its first month available (May 2025) than any other brand and sold 1.2 million cases, according to Anheuser-Busch.

"Last year’s return of Busch Light Apple created a frenzy among fans, and the excitement only kept building when we announced it was coming back again this year," said Krystyn Stowe, Anheuser-Busch's head of marketing for the Busch Family & Natural Family of products, in a statement to USA TODAY. "Our fans made it clear just how much they missed that crisp, refreshing apple flavor, so bringing it back was an easy decision. We’re excited to give them another chance to enjoy the Busch Light Apple they’ve been asking for."

When to get Busch Light Apple and how to win prizes

Busch Light Apple, light lager with a crisp apple flavor, has become a seasonal favorite.

Busch Light Apple will be arriving in stores by the end of the month in six-packs of 16-ounce cans, as well as 12-packs, 24-packs and 30-packs of 12-ounce cans, plus 25-ounce single cans.

The brand is also giving away prizes including country music memorabilia and an ultimate NASCAR fantasy with a Contract for a Day sweepstakes in partnership with Trackhouse Racing. Follow Busch Beer on X, Facebook and Instagram for chances to win.

The brand has again teamed up with investor Ronald Wayne, an oft-forgotten co-founder of Apple. He had an initial 10% stake in the company and quickly sold it for $800, a stake that would be worth hundreds of billions now, according to Fortune.

Busch Light Apple is backed by 'investor' Ronald Wayne.

Last year as part of Busch Light Apple's promotion, Wayne played off his Apple experience, saying, "Back then, I wasn’t confident enough to see the opportunity in front of me. This time, I know a good thing when I see it,” Wayne said in a news release at the time. "When Busch Light Apple comes around, you don’t hesitate, you stock up. This is one opportunity I’m not letting slip away."

He's invested in Busch Light Apple again, saying in a news release, "Safe to say this investment has paid off big time. I’m thrilled Busch Light Apple is coming back in 2026 so everyone can get in on the action. This is one investment you can’t go wrong with."
