Planters Peanuts made its own sneakers, but they're only available for a short time

Planters Peanuts hopes you're willing to shell out big bucks for a pair of its own basketball sneakers.

The company announced it is selling its own branded sneakers called Crunch Force 1s. The leather shoes feature a combination of blue, yellow, and black. Company mascot Mr. Peanut appears on the tongue, and include peanut insoles.

The $170 shoes are available only on crunchforce1.com until 6 p.m. EST on June 21. The shoes will take six weeks for delivery.

The idea of a food company developing its own sneakers is nothing new. Last year, Pizza Hut launched its Pie Tops II sneakers, which featured a button on the tongue that placed a pizza delivery order.
