Will Ferrell on 'Elf 2': 'Absolutely not'

The Elf is staying on the shelf.

So says the would-be man in tights himself, Will Ferrell, who told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live last night that no matter how many fans scribble Elf 2 on their Christmas movie wish lists, it's not happening.

"Absolutely not," Ferrell said. "I just think it would look slightly pathetic if I tried to squeeze back in the elf tights: Buddy the middle-aged elf."
