Pointer Sister Bonnie throws up while performing 'I'm So Excited'

We know the Pointer Sisters told us not to worry but it appears one of them lost control –of her esophagus – over the weekend. 

A TMZ video shows Bonnie Pointer throwing up in her hand during a solo set at Hollywood's Wattles Mansion on Saturday.

She then tried to power through the first verse and chorus of her next number, "I'm So Excited."

A minute or so later, Pointer, 68, let the backing vocal track take over while she tried to regroup. But a subsequent attack of near vomiting appeared to put a stop to the show.

USA TODAY has reached out to Pointer's representatives about what caused her illness.
