2016 Emmys get the Honest Trailers treatment

You know, it's harder to make fun of Emmy nominees once you join their illustrious ranks.

Though not in the case of the Honest Trailers gang, who snagged their first nomination in the short-form variety series category, alongside Epic Rap Battles of History and Funny or Die.

After some initial hesitation, they dove right in and retitled this year's nominated comedy, drama and limited series in true TL;DR tradition.

A few of our favorites:

Downers and Dragons (Game of Thrones)

"Some of the good guys actually won for once?"

Spy So-Called Life (Homeland)

Ask your Generation X family and friends to explain why that's funny.

Byte Club (Mr. Robot)

"You met me at a very strange time in my life."

.ComTourage (Silicon Valley)

Let's face it: Pied Piper has had as many misfires as Vince Chase's acting career.

Wacky Room (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt)

Sorry, Honest Trailers: We can't give you credit for your Downton Abbey submission. SNL nailed it when they called it Fancy Entourage.
