Watch 'The Wiz's new Dorothy find out she got the role

After an open casting call and a long, long search, NBC finally revealed who'd be starring as Dorothy in The Wiz Live: Shanice Williams, an 18-year-old unknown actress with an incredible voice.

And in addition to a big to-do on the Today Show this morning, the network also released a video of the moment Williams found out she'd nabbed the role.

Watch it and try not to cry as you see a talented young actress getting the good news of a lifetime.
