Bobby Moynihan's 'SNL' Weekend Update theory is both perfect and insane

SNL cast member Bobby Moynihan is both really great at sketch comedy and, apparently, coming up with theories that rival the all-the-Pixar-movies-are-connected one.

In an interview with Time Out New York the actor, who memorably plays the Drunk Uncle character on SNL's Weekend Update segment, dropped a truth bomb that has our heads reeling: All the characters on Update are connected:
"You know, I think all of those characters on Update come from one family. I always call (Drunk Uncle's) wife Linda because I joke around that it’s (Kristen Wiig’s character) Aunt Linda, and Stefon is their son. The Girl You Wish You Hadn’t Started a Conversation with at the Party is their daughter. And Jacob (the Bar Mitzvah Boy) lives next door but Drunk Uncle doesn’t talk to him because he’s Jewish.

Moynihan also talked about how he envisions Drunk Uncle signing off from the Update desk, and it's nothing like the happy ending Stefon got:
He’s so dark. The only way to finish it is just that he’s dead. He’s going to die on Update, and that’s it. He’s got a "Do not revive" thing on his bracelet. He’s just done. He’s been done forever."
Well, at least Aunt Linda, Stefon, the Girl You Wish You Hadn’t Started a Conversation with at the Party and Jacob the Bar Mitzvah Boy will be able to comfort each other.
