New show is sure to take us up 'Schitt's Creek'

Pop, the TV channel currently known as TVGN, has announced its first original scripted project.
It's Schitt's Creek, a comedy starring Eugene Levy and his son Daniel.
Look for 13 episodes in early 2015.
The series centers on a rich video store magnate Johnny Rose (Eugene Levy), his soap star wife Moira (Catherine O'Hara), and their two kids - hipster son David (Daniel Levy) and socialite daughter Alexis (Annie Murphy), who suddenly find themselves broke.
They are forced to live in Schitt’s Creek, a small depressing town they once bought as a joke. And they don't have a paddle.
But they do have Chris Elliot as the mayor of the town!
Hilarity is sure to ensue.
"This show answers the question — what would the Kardashians do if they woke up one day completely broke?” said Brad Schwartz, President of Entertainment and Media for Pop. The answer: They'd be up Schitt's Creek.
