'Love Island USA' wants fans to 'keep it kind' ahead of Season 8

Ready to soak up all the romance and drama "Love Island USA" has to offer?

In Peacock's hit reality dating series, a group of new singles will revel in a lavish villa in Fiji while putting their heart on the line to find their match.

And the show wants to keep the Season 8 weeks-long journey a good vibe, as underscored in a statement to fans on Wednesday, May 27.

"The Villa runs on good vibes, and so does this community. We love seeing your reactions, opinions, and debates, but everyone deserves to feel safe and respected," "Love Island USA" said ahead of the highly anticipated cast announcement.

"This is a space for fun, not negativity, so keep it kind, keep it positive, and remember: this is 'LOVE' Island."

'Love Island USA' has issued disclaimers before amid its growing hype

Last season, which premiered in June 2025, the show had to release a public service announcement condemning online hate against the participants.

"The keyword in Love Island is… love. We love our fans. We love our islanders. We don't love cyberbullying, harassment, or hate," the on-screen message ahead of the June 24 episode said.

In a statement also posted on X at the time, the show doubled down on their disclaimer, "Please just remember they're real people - so let's be kind and spread love!"

The drama-filled Season 7 became a massive hit on Peacock. Watch parties became a go-to event for fans to observe their favorite contestants, make up, break up or get dumped from the island.

According to the platform, the show had more than 18.4 billion minutes streamed during its run. From viral moments to the growing fandom's in-depth discourse, it was hard to escape "Love Island" content on the timeline.

The same hype is anticipated with Season 8 around the corner.
