Do reported NYC permits point to a Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wedding date?

We don't know for sure when or where pop star Taylor Swift and Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce are getting married, but more and more hints seem to be popping up.

Reports emerged in early June that the couple was going to tie the knot at Madison Square Garden, but things were understandably under wraps. The location makes sense from a privacy standpoint, allowing the 14-time Grammy winner and 3-time Super Bowl winner and their high-profile guests to get in and out of the venue away from the prying eyes of the paparazzi. It has no windows and a closed roof, making the happy couple the ones in charge of releasing information and content.

It seems that small details emerging also point to an extravagant July 3 affair at MSG.

"A permit was filed with New York City to close the streets around Madison Square Garden from July 2 to midday July 4 for an event on July 3, according to three people who have knowledge of the matter," the New York Times revealed on Wednesday.

Another source said Chiefs players have reservations at a nearby hotel and that an unnamed city official has confirmed it's a wedding happening on July 3.
