Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce still haven't confirmed when or where they'll get married. But since reports linked the couple's big day to Madison Square Garden on July 3, new details have continued to emerge — from public permits and venue schedules to comments from teammates, city officials and the bride and groom.

Here are some of the biggest burning questions, and what the couple has said so far.

When exactly are Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce getting married?

The "I Know Places" singer and her fiancé have not confirmed a wedding date. The couple's nuptials reportedly will be a multi-day event; the New York Times suggested a smaller gathering of about 100 people will take place July 2, with a much bigger celebration on July 3.

The timing aligns with both of their schedules. Swift has long associated the holiday with gatherings of friends and family at her Rhode Island estate, while Chiefs training camp begins July 29. ESPN's Nate Taylor previously reported Kelce hoped to marry before camp opens.

Earlier speculation centered on June 13 after online rumors connected Swift to festivities near her Rhode Island home. Those reports were later debunked by a wedding planner involved, shifting attention to New York.

Eagle-eyed Swifties have also pointed to the schedules of the singer's inner circle. For example, actress Mariska Hargitay, who joined Swift courtside at Madison Square Garden during Game 4 of the NBA Finals, appears to have one notable gap in her Broadway schedule. During her run in "Every Brilliant Thing," July 3 is the only Friday without a scheduled performance.

Where will the wedding be?

Reports from TMZ and the New York Post have linked the couple's celebration to Madison Square Garden, though neither Swift nor Kelce has publicly commented.

USA TODAY has confirmed that permits related to Madison Square Garden were filed for July 2 through July 4. However, the records do not identify Swift or Kelce and do not confirm the event is connected to the couple.

The rumors picked up steam after New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani referenced "Taylor Swift's wedding" while discussing public safety planning for the busy Fourth of July weekend. A city official later clarified that the mayor was referring to previously published media reports rather than confirming independent knowledge of the event.

Madison Square Garden executive chairman James Dolan was asked about the wedding during a WFAN interview. He stayed mostly mum while the hosts talked, never confirming nor denying the wedding. When one host suggested it would be the first wedding of its kind at the Garden, Dolan replied, "It's not a public event." (Sly Stone and Kathy Silva married at the venue in front of 21,000 fans, and the Unification Church had a mass wedding there in 1982.)

Madison Square Garden does hold personal significance for Swift. She headlined her first show there during the "Fearless" era in 2009, returned for the "Speak Now" Tour, performed at multiple Jingle Ball concerts there and celebrated her 30th birthday at the venue in 2019. She was also courtside at the NBA Finals Game 4 in June.

And there is a notable gap in MSG's public calendar. The venue's website lists a June 28 concert by Rüfüs Du Sol and a July 7 performance by Bon Jovi, with no public events scheduled in between. But the venue has been known to go dark before on the long July 4th weekend.

Who are the guests at Taylor and Travis' wedding?

Several of Kelce's teammates from the Kansas City Chiefs are expected to attend the nuptials. The groom often talks about the team's quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, as family. ("I'm playing against a brother and I'm playing with one," he said ahead of the Super Bowl when they faced brother Jason's Philadelphia Eagles.) Swift attended several Chiefs' games with Mahomes' wife, Brittany. Kelce served as a groomsmen at their wedding.

Peters Clothiers, a Kansas City-based formalwear and tailoring company, shared a photo of Chiefs coach Andy Reid being fitted for formalwear, mentioning the team's general manager and VP of sports medicine in the caption: "KC CHIEFS Andy Reid, Brett Veach and Rick Burkholder getting ready for the Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift Wedding!"

While the couple hasn't commented on the full guest list, Swift hinted Graham Norton would be among the guests. When Swift, in October 2025, appeared on "The Graham Norton Show" to promote her album, "The Life of a Showgirl," the host asked if she was getting married in 2026.

She responded, "Oh you’ll know."

"So you’re going big?" he followed up.

"Meaning I was going to invite you to it," she said.

"If you’re inviting me, it’s very big," Norton replied.

"It's huge," Swift said. She added that she had little interest in navigating the politics of a small guest list, explaining that larger weddings eliminate the need to decide which friends and acquaintances make the cut.

Suki Waterhouse, in an interview with Variety, said she'll be there.

"Nothing scarier than the actual planning part, right?" she said, as she's in the midst of planning her own ceremony with Robert Pattinson. "I'm gonna go to Taylor’s wedding, and maybe I’ll get some inspiration. It will be amazing."

Close friend and collaborator Ed Sheeran is an expected attendee. The "Shape of You" singer is touring, but doesn't have a performance scheduled on July 3; his next show is July 4 in Denver. On a UK radio show, she was asked if he'd perform at the wedding.

"Oh it would be hard to keep him from it, I think!" said the pop superstar. "That's the thing, he's like, 'I'm always being asked to sing at weddings.' It's like, 'Ed, if there is a stage, you know you’ll be on it.' He knows what people want, and he wants to give people what they want."

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle confirmed he'll be attending the wedding, saying he already has a blue suit picked out.

"I'm half expecting there to be a jumbo jet on a runway and they put us on a plane somewhere," Kittle said at Tight End University in Nashville, suggesting guests are still being kept in the dark about the location. He added that when he asked Kelce whether the celebration was at Madison Square Garden, "he laughed at me."

Several other close friends, including Abigail Anderson Berard, Ashley Avignone, and Este, Danielle and Alana Haim are expected to attend.

Even Prince William is hoping for an invite. During an interview on Heart FM, the future king said "No comment," when asked if he'd be there. "I'm hoping and I'm sure there might be an invitation around, but we'll see."

Who is designing Taylor's wedding dress?

While Swift has not revealed who designed her gown—and there may be several—USA TODAY fashion expert Morgan Evans has speculated about several possibilities based on designers she's frequently worn throughout her career.

Among the names drawing the most attention: Monse, the New York brand founded by Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia (Swift wore some of their looks when they served as co-creative directors at Oscar de la Renta); Stella McCartney (she's rumored to be attending the wedding); Jonathan Anderson of Christian Dior; Vivienne Westwood, known for romantic corseted bridal gowns; Ralph Lauren, whose striped dress Swift wore in her engagement announcement; Oscar de la Renta, a longtime red-carpet favorite; Jackson Wiederhoeft, whose designs Swift has recently embraced; and Givenchy under creative director Sarah Burton.

Who is planning the wedding?

Page Six linked luxury event planner Mark Seed to the celebration, a choice that would align with the couple's emphasis on privacy and discretion.

Seed maintains one of the lowest public profiles in the celebrity-event industry. His website contains little more than a logo and contact information. He has previously been connected to high-profile weddings involving Jennifer Lawrence, Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley.

Fans may remember Antonoff and Qualley's 2023 New Jersey wedding because Swift attended. After word spread that she was among the guests, crowds of fans and photographers inundated the community hoping to catch a glimpse of the singer.

What about gifts?

Kittle also revealed that — aside from secrecy — the couple has one wedding rule: "They said absolutely no gifts."

When will Swift and Kelce share all the details?

"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," Swift posted on Instagram when the couple announced their engagement — a full two weeks after Kelce popped the question.

Ever since they've been excited about the day, but understandably guarded. During a May 6 episode of "New Heights," golfer Rory McIlroy reflected on how memorable weddings can be.

Kelce's response was brief: "I can't wait."
