Alberto Cuadra is an award-winning visual journalist and creative director with more than 20 years of experience in information graphics and data visualization across leading newsrooms and mission-driven organizations. As Senior Creative Director at Rocky Mountain Institute, he led a multidisciplinary team in translating complex climate and energy topics into clear, compelling visual narratives.
Previously, he headed the graphics team at Science/AAAS and served as a graphics editor at The Washington Post, Houston Chronicle, and Reuters. His work—and that of the teams he’s led—has earned prestigious honors, including a Peabody Award and multiple medals from the Society for News Design and Malofiej Awards for Infographics.
Alberto specializes in editorial information design, data visualization, and interactive storytelling. He holds a degree in journalism from Spain's Universidad de Navarra.
