Sandy Schlosser is a Senior Content Strategist for USA TODAY and the USA TODAY NETWORK. She specializes in strategic search engine optimization, understanding and engaging readers in the digital space, and training journalists in advanced SEO strategies for News.
Sandy contributed to the search optimization of “The Wall: Unknown stories, Unintended consequences," a joint USA TODAY / Arizona Republic special report which won the Pulitzer Prize for Explanatory Reporting in 2018. She also won the Unsung Hero Award in 2017 and was a finalist in the Gannett’s Greatest Awards in 2023.
Prior to working for the USA TODAY NETWORK, Sandy was a user experience specialist, content strategist, and audience analyst at Consumer Reports in Yonkers, New York. Sandy has a Bachelor of Music Education and an MLS in Information Retrieval from Rutgers University.
During her free time, Sandy enjoys hiking the Blue Ridge, painting folk art, and storytelling. She loves the cool weather and colorful foliage of autumn, and Halloween is her favorite holiday.
