The Chicago Blackhawks unveiled their Winter Classic jerseys on Nov. 5. Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews models the jersey, which is based on the teamās 1957 version. A look at the two 2015 Winter Classic teamsā jerseys and past ones:

Toews shows off the back and side of the jersey. The secondary logos overlap the top two stripes on the sleeve rather than the traditional shoulder placement.

The Washington Capitals introduced their Winter Classic jerseys on Sept. 23. Their Jan. 1 opponent, the Chicago Blackhawks, will unveil theirs later. A look at the Capitals jersey and ones from their past Winter Classics.

The W logo is new to this jersey, but the teams has had stars and the word Capitals on previous jerseys. The stripes were unsed on Washington professional hockey jerseys from the 1930s.

2014: The Detroit Red Wings wore home red and the Toronto Maple Leafs wore blue during the 2014 game at Michigan Stadium.

Detroit's winged wheel logo was a version from the late 1930s, and the striping was from the late 1920s.
