NBA Play-In Tournament bracket: 76ers secure No. 7 seed; Warriors win

The NBA postseason officially tipped off Tuesday, April 14 with two the 2026 NBA Play-In Tournament games. Two more Play-In games will take place Wednesday, April 15.

In the opener, the Philadelphia 76ers secured the No. 7 playoff seed in the Eastern Conference with a 109-97 win over the Orlando Magic, who now must play the Charlotte Hornets on Friday, April 17 to decide which team earns the No. 8 seed in the East.

Later, the Golden State Warriors defeated the Los Angeles Clippers in a dramatic, win-or-go-home showdown. The Warriors will face the Phoenix Suns on Friday, April 17 to determine the No. 8 playoff seed in the Western Conference.

The losers of the No. 9 vs. No. 10 matchups will be eliminated from the postseason. The winners of the No. 7 vs. No. 8 games will solidify the No. 7 seeds in the NBA playoffs. The losers of those games will play the winners of the No. 9 vs. No. 10 matchups to claim the No. 8 seeds in the playoffs. All play-in games will be streamed exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
