Season series: Blue Jays lead 1-0
Toronto picked up a wild 9-7 road win in 10 innings in the series opener Tuesday as slight underdogs (+102) as the Over (7) cashed. SS Andres Gimenez and CF Daulton Varsho socked solo homers in the victory, while 1B Vladimir Guerrero Jr. doubled in the go-ahead run in the 10th. Milwaukee has dropped 6 in a row, its longest losing streak since 2023. 1B Jake Bauers had a 3-run HR in the losing effort.
Toronto has won 3 of the past 5 games, while the Over has cashed in 4 in a row. The road win in the series opener was the first of the season after going 0-3 in the first 3 on the road April 3-5 at Chicago White Sox.
Milwaukee has lost 4 in a row at home, despite 13 total runs scored in the past 2 games. The Brewers have allowed 5 or more runs in 7 of the past 9 outings since April 4, giving up an average of 6.0 runs per game (RPG) in the 9-game span. The Over is 3-1 in the past 4 outings, and 6-3 in that aforementioned 9-game run.
The Brewers placed LF Christian Yelich (groin) on the 10-day injured list Tuesday after he left Sunday's loss to Washington. He joins CF Jackson Chourio (hand) and 1B Andrew Vaughn (hand) on the shelf, as both are also on the IL.

Blue Jays at Brewers picks and predictions
Prediction
Blue Jays 3, Brewers 2
Moneyline
The BLUE JAYS (-120) are a solid play as slight road favorites as Toronto looks to clinch a series win, but expect a surprisingly decent pitching duel.
Proceed with caution, though, as Toronto's lone win in 4 road games came Tuesday night. But, Milwaukee is on a 6-game skid, and it cannot be trusted, either.
Run line/Against the spread
If you're ultra-conservative as a bettor, take the BREWERS +1.5 (-175) catching the run and a half at home. While Milwaukee has dropped 6 in a row, Patrick has been surprisingly effective in his 2 starts and 1 relief appearance, allowing just a single run in 46 at-bats.
As a favorite on the run line, Toronto is 1-6 in the past 7 tries.
Over/Under
UNDER 7.5 (-115) is a strong play, as we should get surprisingly decent pitching from Cease and Patrick.
Be careful, though, as the Over has cashed in 4 in a row for Toronto, and the total has gone high in 3 of the past 4 outings for Milwaukee. The Brewers have managed just 3.2 RPG in the past 6 outings, and they'll have difficulty plating runs against Cease.
