Ross Dress for Less has opened 13 new stores. See the list.

Discount retailer Ross Dress for Less has opened new locations across 10 states, as well as locations under the company’s DD’s Discounts brand in 3 states, the company announced this month.

The 13 Ross stores and four DD’s Discounts stores have already opened their doors, according to the company’s websites, including in states such as Texas, Colorado and California, where the brand is based. Ross said in a press release that the stores opened between February and March.

The openings are part of the company’s expansion plan to open 110 stores in 2026. That plan includes an estimated 85 Ross locations and 25 DD’s Discounts stores, the company said, adding that the business saw positive performance in 2025. Both stores carry footwear, clothing and home goods.

Last year, Ross opened 90 new locations. As of mid-March, Ross had 1,917 locations in 44 states, the District of Columbia, Guam and Puerto Rico, as well as 366 DD’s Discounts stores in 23 states, the company said.

"We expanded Ross Dress for Less in the Mountain, Midwest, and Northeast regions while also strengthening our presence in key Sunbelt states," Richard Lietz, executive vice president of property development at Ross, said in the press release. "For (DD’s Discounts), we added new stores in our core markets of California and Texas, as well as our inaugural location in Utah."

The company said it decided to celebrate each opening with a donation to the local Boys & Girls Club or a First Book, which helps teachers get access to affordable books for communities in need.

Leitz, executive vice president of property development at Ross, said in the press release that the company is on track to open more locations.

"We remain confident in our long-term growth potential and see a clear path to 2,900 Ross locations and 700 (DD’s Discounts) stores across the country," he said.
