Saks closing 8 Saks Fifth Avenue stores. See list.
Closures include Saks Fifth Avenue stores in eight states, a Neiman Marcus store in Boston, and 14 standalone Fifth Avenue Club styling suites.
Saleen MartinSaks Global is closing more Saks Fifth Avenue locations, a Neiman Marcus location, and most of its standalone personal styling suites in 18 states, the company announced this week.
The company made the announcement on Tuesday, Feb. 10, noting that the closures are part of “strategic actions” that will “enable profitable and sustainable growth.”
Closures include eight Saks Fifth Avenue stores in states such as Ohio and New Jersey, a Neiman Marcus store in Massachusetts, and 14 standalone Fifth Avenue Club personal styling suites located inside luxury resorts. The company said its Bergdorf Goodman department stores will remain open as usual.

The announcement comes after Saks Global acquired Neiman Marcus in 2024, filed for bankruptcy in mid-January, and shared on Feb. 2 that the majority of Saks OFF Fifth stores would be closing. According to Reuters, Saks took on about $2.2 billion in debt to buy Neiman Marcus back in 2024.
Here’s what we know so far, including a list store closures.

Why is Saks Global closing stores?
Saks Global said in its February announcement that the company is “refining the Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus store footprint to focus on profitable locations with the highest growth potential.” The business is closing locations based on factors such as performance and “lease economics.”
The Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus store slated for closure will stay open until the end of April, Saks Global told USA TODAY today.
What happens to Horchow?
Saks Global is also shutting down the website for luxury furniture and home decor retailer Horchow and is integrating products to Neiman Marcus' website. The change will go into effect on Feb. 19.
The company said shoppers wanting to shop Horchow “will continue to find the full assortment of brands and product categories previously available on Horchow.com.”

Which Fifth Avenue Club personal styling suites are closing?
In addition to closing some Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus stores, Saks Global said it will close 14 of its standalone Fifth Avenue Club personal styling suites. That’s the majority of the company’s personal styling suites located inside high-end resorts.
Initially, the styling suites were only housed inside Saks Fifth Avenue stores, then in 2023, Saks Global announced standalone suites inside luxury resorts such as the Ritz-Carlton and St. Regis Hotels & Resorts for customers with no Saks stores to visit. The company said in its press release that Saks Global can now serve customers with no physical Saks locations through its Neiman Marcus stores.
The Fifth Avenue Club personal styling suites will close to the public on Saturday, Feb. 14, the company confirmed to USA TODAY this week. The company said it will keep three of its personal styling suite locations in Indianapolis, Honolulu, and Palm Beach, according to a list the company shared online.
