Kraft Mac & Cheese launches restaurant‑inspired flavors

Kraft Mac & Cheese is bringing the "restaurant" to you.

From Romano Cacio e Pepe to Monterey Jack Caramelized Onion, the Kraft Heinz Company is now offering three new varieties inspired by the "elevated flavors of restaurant-style mac and cheese."

According to Kraft Heinz, Restaurant Edition is meant to mirror restaurant-style mac and cheese in all facets but one: price. Restaurant Edition boxes also boast 30% more food than the classic blue box.

"Restaurant Edition brings quality, affordability, and the experience of dining out together – all without leaving home," Sara Roashan, Associate Director of Mac & Cheese Innovation at Kraft Heinz, said in a statement.

"Consumers crave restaurant-inspired flavors, and we knew Kraft Mac & Cheese could make them more accessible without demanding a high level of kitchen expertise. You can treat yourself, your family, or host a dinner party with the simple Kraft Mac & Cheese format you know and love," Roashan added.

'Restaurant' style Kraft Mac & Cheese coming soon

Kraft Mac & Cheese Restaurant Edition is rolling out at retailers nationwide this month. Packed with 10 grams of protein per serving, each flavor was "designed to balance bold taste with the familiarity of Kraft Mac & Cheese."

According to Kraft Heinz, the "new lineup offers quality at-home mac and cheese that is convenient, deliciously affordable, with the same familiar prep of the classic blue box: just add milk and butter."

The full Restaurant Edition lineup includes:

• Parmesan Pesto - A fresh-from-the-pantry dish that balances herbaceous basil pesto with sharp Parmesan cheese and Gemelli noodles
• Romano Cacio e Pepe - Delivers peppery richness and Pecorino Romano cheese with Pipette noodles
• Monterey Jack Caramelized Onion – A first-to-market mac & cheese flavor – balances the savory taste of caramelized onion with milky, mellow Monterey Jack cheese and Cavatappi noodles
