Duchess Meghan taking cooking talents to 'MasterChef Australia'

Duchess Meghan is rubbing shoulders with the cooking pros on "MasterChef Australia."
Amid Meghan and Prince Harry's four-day trip to Australia, the Duchess of Sussex will make an appearance on "MasterChef Australia," the show announced Wednesday, April 15. Meghan, a "passionate foodie with global influence" according to the show, will serve as a guest judge on the Australian version of the BBC series.
Meghan, whose Netflix TV series "With Love, Meghan" features the former actress cooking and gardening while communing with friends, will be featured on the competition series on Sunday, April 19, streaming at 7 p.m. local time.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex landed in Australia on Tuesday, April 14, in their first visit to Australia since 2018. They last visited as working royals before they infamously stepped back from their senior roles in 2020, eventually taking residence in California.
The 2018 trip was notable in that, hours after landing in Sydney, Meghan revealed her first pregnancy, with son Archie, now 6. The young prince and his 4-year-old sister, Princess Lilibet, did not join the trip this week.
During this somewhat controversial trip, the couple so far have visited and taken photos with patients at a children's hospital and taken part in activities with veterans and their families, while Meghan helped serve food at a women's domestic violence shelter and Harry spoke to veterans about mental health.

The Sussexes will attend a mental health summit in Melbourne on Thursday and sailing and rugby events in Sydney on Friday. Meghan will remain in Sydney over the weekend to host a paid wellness retreat featuring yoga, manifestation and sound healing at a luxury beach hotel.
