The connection between Donald Trump and tech giant Elon Musk has gained increased attention since Trump became America's president-elect after the 2024 election. Musk's public support of Trump, which began in July after a failed assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pa., has culminated into Trump's announcement that the Tesla and SpaceX CEO would co-lead a new “Department of Government Efficiency” with Vivek Ramaswamy.
